Not too much going on with us this past week. Kurt was traveling a few days for work through central Pennsylvania. I spent most of the week picking out fabric & carpet samples, meeting with contractors, and furniture shopping as we are trying to re-do our family room and hoping to have it done in time for Katy’s baby shower over the Thanksgiving holiday.
I am very happy to have finally finished the 2nd guest room. The Beals were nice enough to let us use the twin bedroom set that was originally used by our Uncle Tom and Uncle Bob when they were kids. The furniture set is so cute with a sailboat nautical theme and we decorated it with Pottery Barn Kids whales bedding so it is ready for any friends or family who want to visit.
Brownie and I found a few more letterboxes this week and are still in awe at how beautiful the Cleveland Metroparks are. We visited the Rocky River Reservation in North Olmsted, Mill Stream Run Reservation in Berea and started a 13 part clue at the Huntington Reservation here in Bay Village. Our favorite find of the week was the one at Weber’s Ice Cream in Fairview Park. They had the best pumpkin custard we’ve ever had. It was delicious!! We’ll put the info on Beal’s Meals but it closes for the winter at the end of October so we recommend checking it out soon.
