At 6-months we went back to the dr’s to get more shots and measurements. I wasn’t surprised that they said Henry was still tall for his age but I amazed that he was off the charts for height!! Kurt didn’t have a six month checkup so I didn’t have anything to compare to this time. Kurt was already crawling by 6 months and 1 week and Henry was still just scooting backward on his belly getting stuck under chairs and Brownie’s bed. That’s not surprising though since babies these days are crawling much later since they sleep on their backs versus bellies. Henry has become much more vocal and will imitate you if you scream loud and he’s also started to cuddle and hug when he’s really happy. He still loves his jumperoo and now likes to ride around on a scooter but he needs help. The dr also said his top 2 teeth are ready to come out very soon so no more cute gummy smile. In addition to his regular vaccines, Henry got the first part of the infant seasonal flu shot. He’ll go back in one month and get the 2nd part and the H1N1 vaccine. Here are his 6-month growth stats:

Height: 29 inches (off the charts!)
Head circumference: 44 cm (60%)
